life pretty much resumed today since my uncle passed on.

i'm back to searching for a job. nothing new lah. but thank goodness for the support from dear and my family who tells me to take my time (though i'm still in very much a hurry to find a job).

i'm halfway down to getting my butt on my driving registration. i just haven't cleared my online banking. like yeah, finally. after everyone has their licences. but then again, i'm in no hurry la. there's no car to drive aniwae, except if daddy doesn't use the car.

and like jie said, driving is so inconvenient. the parking and all. thinking of which routes to take. haa. i dunno. i'll tell you when i'm there.

that's why she refuse to get her own car. but got her own flat instead.
rent, to be precise. she moved out soon after we came back from paris. dear and i went to her house yesterday. arrggh. damn nice la. i want a place of my own too. but then again. yah la. stay with daddy and mummy seems better.

The End Of The Road

am back being a blogger and jobber. missed out on many applications, and made up for it today. been busy travelling to and fro and staying up till the wee hours of the morning at the wake.

been close to my uncle's family since young and the impact was rather huge on my family. especially for my mom, who's really close to her brother.

louis has since stick to me like uhu glue and his unlimited kisses got pimples growing on my face cos of his dirty and oily mouth. and i guess its due to the late nights and early mornings as well.

the coffin closing was the shortest, but the most overwhelming period. no one could take it. especially my auntie. my heart ached like a blister.

nicolas cried when his grandfather got cremated. i guess he sort of "got it" that my uncle wouldn't be there anymore. and soon, every one else was holding each other crying, red-eyed and teary.

well, i guess, in life, death cannot be prevented.

and to me, family's important, and will always be first.

dear: thank you for being there, even though you are busy with work. everyone loves you, and so do i :)

The Wake

my uncle left us suddenly on monday and i've been busy at the funeral everyday.

going to go jobbing now.

will blog later in the week.

Family

other than busy sending out mails and attending interviews, i've been going to the hospital, at least 3 times a week.

my uncle's (nic and louis's grandfather) has been diagnosed with lung cancer. and its the final stage. its been diagnosed for a long time oredi. just that the doctor said these are the remaining days and we're all praying and hoping for the best.

other than being there for my cousin, i'm also there to act as a baby-sitter to the kids so that my cousins can better look after my uncle. its not easy. and i guess, its a very painful stage for everyone in the family. especially my mom who's very close to her brother. many a times, i have seen so many teary red-eyed faces.

and so, yep. i've been spending alot of time there.

so other than hectically finding a job, i see the other side of life there in the hospital. ppl there, all fighting for their lives, where we sometimes just take the ppl around us for granted. like some things are just meant to be. i just pray that everything is well and fine everyday. my uncle lost so much weight, can't talk anymore, stares into space and hardly eats.

other than that... little kittens downstairs at my neighbours'. there are 4 of them. all in different patterns.

Dehydrated

am gluping down tonnes of water cos i keep having the runs through the night which never did stop even until now.

a total of 5 times.

superly dehydrated. all water gone.

my tummy started having this little warm and heavy sensation last night. sighz. and there was where it all started.

luckily the interviews are not today.

had one scheduled interview, and another last minute one yesterday, calling me through my interview. was running about here and there and the hard pouring rain did not help.

some things i hope would turn out good, other offers and scopes ain't that good.

still, i'm actively sending out mails even though lappy's sick.

i need some bacon man.

shit, can feel the 6th time coming.

i guess today ain't a good day for jobbing.

i'm pretty much sick.

positively, let's just hope i'll get thinner :)

Crash My World

lappy got infected with virus last night and was hospitalized. shucks. i feel so lost without lappy. like my whole life went missing. luckily all important stuff are in my external hard disk.

am now using the desktop which i'm super not used to it coz its super slow.

nicolas and louis are both in town. haven't got time to meet them yet though. but heard they got little cute haircuts.

i hope more good things come my way.

been chatting with grace lately and we're all so excited for ali. other than changing our lives for the better career-wise, we're oh-so looking forward to that day :)

oh, and i've been hunting for a caterer for about 30 pax about $10 to $15 per head. anything within that range. but it has to be halal. any recommendations? i need it at my place. buzz or tag me.

need to go prepare for my interview.

My Rough Patch

i really wish i can get a job soon.

it causes me sleepless nights. and i wake up at the wee hours of the morning (even before my maid does), only to find myself having mere 3 hours of sleep.

it happens almost every night.

going out is not a main option since it encompasses spending money. and i would minimize my going out as much as possible.

the boyfriend is busy with his life establishing his career and when he comes home he's tired. so we hardly talk much.

good things don't come easy.

Treasure Hunt?

ok. am taking a break now.

have to complete 5 tests by saturday. and i'm not even done. spent the whole day doing them. leadership, personality, belbin, management values plus the application form.

5 is like so much. but i hope i get this job (i hope to get every job). its so different from the rest that i applied and i'm so excited about it.

but am so happie that i'm shortlisted though. i thot i wouldn't even make it! but am still keeping my fingers crossed. its way too early to say.

Deadly

i nearly killed lappy today.

dropped my hairdryer right on where my internal hard disk was.

BANG!

lappy's screen went running. it wouldn't stop. my mouse wouldn't work.

i can't believe wad would happen if i can't have lappy 24/7.

no more job search. facebook. blogging. and i can't charge my ipod touch.

luckily its working now. and i'm still cruising on 95 right now.

it better be all well and good :)

my engineer has been increasingly busy since work started. yah. i understand totally. i wished i could be as busy as he was.
