had been pretty upset due to reasons i dun wish to divulge. been misunderstood. not once but i guess thrice. my morning got ruined pretty bad.
ali called back during lunch :) and no, i didn't even tell her anything about what happened. but we chatted about her wedding plans and yin yen's pre-wedding meeting later. made me laugh, and so much better. she's my bestie and not one for nothing.
laugh or cry, i knew i could count on you.
it ain't an 11-year thingy for nothing. its our invisible, unspoken bond.
and i don't have to remind you, i love your paintbrush hair when you were 13 :D

Hollywood
i'll skip seaworld and juz end off with hollywood la. i'm so sian of the LA pics.
it was foggy that day. hence the word can't be seen clearly.
went to borders todae @ orchard. bought my 2008 organizer finally! its juz plain PERFECT! juz wad i wanted. both inside and outside. love the hot and bold colours.

bought cute monster stickers too to add on to important dates. happie happie! even pasted one on my lappy :D
simply lurve the stuff at borders.
and so, if you're looking for organizers, i highly and strongly recommend borders.

The Rice War
juz got reprimanded by mom for not taking rice at the dinner table.
yeps. i usually do it for dinner. i've been doing it for quite some time now. cutting back on carbs ma. unless they came in the form of fries or potatoes (whole or mashed) but i reckon i'd finish them. dear always finish it for me :P if not, i'd juz leave it. at times, i'd even throw away my burger, eating only the meat patties.
lunch do not usually appear to be in the form of rice. and now i wonder why. haa.
at times i'd make exceptions and eat rice though. but usually i don't. unless i'm craving for chicken rice, bento sets, pepper lunch, blah blah :P even so, i can't finish the whole plate of rice by myself. its juz too large a portion.
and so, my parents are complaining that i'm becoming too thin. i'm not thin la ok. and i can't get them to stop exaggerating. and juz becoz i went for a minor op on monday becoz one of the nerve of my tooth got infected really bad and too much anesthetic caused me to nose bleed and made me feel faint. (btw, the anesthetic was supposed to numb my mouth only. not to make me sleep.)
and so, they blamed it on me not consuming enuff rice, causing me to wanna blackout.
i got nothing to say man.

Splitter Splatter On My Window
my swimming plans are ruined by the pouring rain splattering outside. oh, nevermind. i have a bad tummy todae aniwae.
am supposed to load the LA pics. but so lazy and bored of it oredi. maybe hollywood next time. i'll skip seaworld.
juz read 2 issues of smitten mag that jie bought. eh, u ppl should really read that mag. stuff there are a little high end though. for ppl like jie. but wah lau. really not a bad mag. i lurve it. other than cleo. i think its a gd buy at $5. totally smitten. hee. i dun think its available at any magazine stands. maybe at borders or sumthing. i have no idea.

and thanks to the rain. i went online shopping for my 2008 organizer. i wanted sumthing cute. but all the cute ones (like sanrio) are monthly organized in squares! how to write my stuff in such a small square? then routed to yahoo auctions (such dangerous place). and then went to bags, and purses. oh gosh. it gave me wild ideas in my mind to get first hand stuff. shucks.
plus, i oredi bought a brown bag from topshop just on monday. and i'm lovin' it! haa. using my 20% voucher accumulated for being such a good topshopper. heh. and damn! they juz wouldn't let me off. they gave me another $10.00 voucher. it keeps me going back.

haa... one more bag would never ever hurt a girl. needless to say an additional top, skirt, or dress. even if it was in the exact pattern, in juz another colour.
darling's birthdae is nearing. still a little clueless abt wad to get for him though i have some in mind, but guys stuff are usually more limited that what girls want. girls want everything under the sun, moon and rain. flipping mags do help a little. though he's in camp on his burfdae, but i'll still get a pressie :)
and i think i should really consider being green. bring my own bags whenever i go out. i do at times, when i remember to carry an extra big bag for gorcery shopping with dear. but i usually forget :P and i think its really bad. the amount of plastic bags we use at the supermarket. and why does it happen only at supermarkets? even shopping for clothes and bags, we can carry it all in our own shopping bag.
i'll try to practice it.
dear: eh, nerd! one more day! by tomorrow, you can shake leg and make merry! daze in space like there's no tomorrow! watch your soccerballs until you become a panda bear! haahaaa... jia you lar! i know its been a long mugging period. lets go for goodie food and ur hair cut when you're done being a nerd. my treat! luckie luckie tmr ok! lurve you!

Life Back At SG
am supposed to continue about my trip, but i'll guess we'll juz sidetrack abit todae on life back at singapore. coz i'm using dearie's lappie now so i dun have the pics with me.
super love the food and weather here and have conquered laksa, fishball noodles, chilli crab (thanks to dearie's uncle. he had me with endless pincers. i lost count of how many i ate :D), and prawn mee. other meals are eaten at home.
dear: shall we oyster and grill chicken wings next? with hokkien mee. oh-oh... newton or someplace ;) lurve you!
am starbucking with darling now. yeah. even after my exams. dear's still having his papers. so i'm accompanying him while he's mugging :) starbucks have this new toffeenut frap for christmas. yeps, we tried it. not too bad. but a little too sweet for my liking though. maybe i still like my java chip and green tea frap.
dear would be free this thursday. finally! he said he'd take me out :D movies and dating. yippies! hee... of coz happie la. we've been thru hell of a time mugging and mugging and i totally understand that feeling. i can't even remember when we last had a good date together. but of coz, books are always our no.1 piority when we became a couple. so, oh well...
hair is getting longer :) heee.... but i think i need a new colour soon. maybe for christmas? erm... though i dun celebrate christmas. but i guess its juz an excuse?
oh, and i need to meet my ali and gracie babes. they are super busy i guess. and my-my! ali! haa. i can't wait to talk to that babe. i think she got so much to tell. she better!

oh and at my transit stop at tokyo-narita, the japanese seem so fond of carrying champpys. made me wanna get a red one. hmph. but then i thot i should get a wallet since i haven'tchanged mine for 3 years. yah la. you read it correctly. 3 years lor. bleah :P haven't used the birthday ang pow that my parents and jie gave to me and i'm so holding on to it. making sure i utilize it properly. but then i oredi have a champpy. it seems mad to buy another. and dear's gonna roll his eyes (0 _0) i know i know~
and i've been looking around for the perfect organizer for coming 2008. went to lovely land which was formerly at bugis but now moved to my tampines mall. they had cute kitty and other sanrio organizers but the internal layout doesn't suit my style. i dun mind paying more for a good one though. haagen dazs came to the mall too. i hope topshop comes one day too since m)phosis came oredi. my cousin also opened another of his ramen ten outlet at century square. tampines is sure a good place to live in. but will pop by borders at parkway soon to look at the organizers.

Las Vegas
part 2 now...
travelled to vegas for 3 days. vegas was different from LA. the air was super polluted with second hand smoke with casinos everywhere. of course, not forgetting bright lights.

daddy played the big jackpot. lost USD $30.00. day 2 at vegas... we made a trip to grand canyon. went to the new glass skywalk. but no cameras can be brought there. so no pics of the skywalk lar. collage of the canyon though.
plus, hoover dam. where transformers was shot.

i got addicted to teddy grahams. cinnamon. super nice, and cute! hee. pardon my bearyness.
oh, and they got twinkies. super nice cream inside. fattening la. but nice lor. i only had 2 bites of it. daddy ate the rest. so i'm safe :D
