TGIF

yeah TGIF.

this week went pass in a whizz. i could hardly believe it. these days, i can hardly squeeze out time for anything else except work, work and work.

colleague going on long leave next week and i'm to cover his work. its gonna be real tough and i nearly fell asleep while he was handing over his stuff to me.

yeah. i noe. wad a way to feel rite? falling asleep?

haiz.

i'm glad that i'm back home in the cosiness of my room, air con and good love songs on class 95. just me, myself, and lappy.

but of cos, i have to work later. as usual. nothing new. work is always brought home.

and did i mention? i fell sick. super sick. but this time, i'm tougher. still working 5 days a week. heh. no choice la. absent one day and work piles up. but the green bloody phelgm and flu gets worst each day.

and my director still buys 1A curry puffs for me today.

heck it, it tasted good.

Genting 19 - 21 November 2008

i went missing again. worked till 10pm the day before leaving for genting. and away to genting at 5am the next morning. dear and i had this planned a long time ago, just that we didn't have the time to do the bookings and all, except for our precious weekends.

finally a break from work.

just him and me.

6 hours later... hungry us.

we went to watch some sort of lion, tiger, magic show all rolled into one as well. wasn't cheap, but dear said we should catch it :) no pics allowed there. so there goes. many other things i didn't take as well, and maybe i'm just too lazy to upload. i'm tired after a long day in office and my table's in a mess. many other things i need to follow up and all. i know i'm whining. all becos i'm sick. a flu caught since i'm in genting.

nevertheless, i'm thankful for the 3 days of quality time with dear and a mind away from work.

thank you for everything, and for being there with me.

Our Special Day

we spent our 8th anniversary working. no meetups. no dinners. no presents, flowers or romantic evenings. its been all dedicated to work. and my workload has since doubled ever since my incompetent colleague became obtuse.

but still. i just wanna stress. i love my guy every single bit. even though none of the above was done.

dear: i love the pillow fights, the stayovers, the cuddles at night, the soccer matches, the late movie nights, the lazy days, the fat days, the food hunts you brought me to, and so much more that we experience together. life has indeed become better now, and i know for sure, you pamper me alot. i know for every little or huge decision you make, i know you do it with me in mind. and right now, i'm very thankful that you're still here with me, developing our careers together.

indeed it takes alot to keep the relationship going, and i'm glad we're still together.

i love you.

Officially 25

dear gave me my final birthday gift on 2 nov and took leave just to spend time with me on the 3rd.

he booked a room to celebrate and spend time with me.

i didn't know he was doing all these behind my back. but its so sweet of him to do these. and the hotel he choose was so extraordinary. its RE! hotel at chin swee road.

went out for dinner that night at mouth restaurant. roamed the streets, bought desserts back. caught my 7pm show which i'm crazy over. super happy.

and today, dear brought me to the movies, lunch at kenny rogers (coz i wanted it :P) hee. dear and i bought matching lego keychains too. super cute! and i came home with 24 JCO donuts from my nanny!

what can i say? i love this guy alot. after so many years, he makes every effort to pamper me with overnight stays, lunches, dinners, presents. and most important of all, LOVE.

and to those who kept my phone ringing non-stop, thank you for all the birthday wishes!

dear: thank you for making the effort to take the day off, making arrangements for the hotel, buying me the coach wallet that i wanted, movies, lunch, dinner and the best thing is waking up in the morning, warm in your arms. thank you for making me feel so special. i know i'm special, at least in your eyes. love you.

Happy 25th

here comes the time where i turn 25.

no huge pressies. in fact, i went back to office to clear my work before my pre-celebration with my family. and, i had a bad day before everything came falling into place.

i reckon if turning 25 is a good or bad thing.

aniwae, had blueberry cheesecake compliments from the company.

had buffet at marina mandarin with my family. of which i appreciated very much.
