so difficult to take this pic can. everyone came to the museum for this. look at the reflection. the number of people was overwhelming. and the people there were all bigger size than me. i was so tiny. can't even reach. had to tip toe to see the painting!

some random egyptian art.

pretty.

super good weather that day. we had picnic at the wide grass patch. lovely. you can't never do it in singapore cos of our bad weather.

Flustered

had a long day. settled jie's new laptop warranty for her.

had a last minute interview at 4pm.

again.

yeah. at their beck and call.

i felt down and tired at the end of the day.

this job hunting is like the game of love. its like you keep searching and finding for the "right one" trying to "love", but in the end, you don't know the heartfelt feelings of the other partner sitting right across you.

its purely the waiting game. unless you enter a company with "strings attached", then a whole new relationship begins.

i've been to so many interviews. i'm so tired.

and i literally look back at the offer made to me when i was touring paris.

i hope decisions made back then were right.

but dear said to move on and look forward.

and i always believed that better things would come my way.

just what is it that they want?

Backtrack

i have quite a bit of pics. all rojak-ed up. but seriously, i am too tired. or rather, lazy lately.

my happie gurls with their HUGE tic-tacs from me from paris. plus a whole load of stuff, hidden.

grace, happie with her red longchamp.

had good dinner at billy bombers. instead of baguettes.

nacho cheese starter. nice.

my chicken main course.

and this is super good. at the japanese restaurant beside billy's at marina square. some mango thingy. cost us $9.80. but damn nice la.

we din take any pics that day. all of us were tired and nothing beats chatting and eating.

and took pics of these little kittens on my way back from the book fair at suntec the other day. they were so tiny. the size of my palm. hiding under the nissan van.

as much as i never liked cats. i know they are harmless little kittens.

it was pouring like crazy on yesterday morning. lazed in bed together with dear to watch tv as the rain poured... and i stayed over :)

daddy's 59th birthday today. celebrated at jumbo with super sumptuous seafood.

to the man who has always been in my life.
unreasonable at times.
but who loves me unconditionally.
and funds my everything without complaints.
HAPPIE BIRTHDAY.

and to the other man, i have always loved you.
but i love you even more when when we're eating crabs.
its the most unromantic setting,
but you always shell my crabbies for me, knowing i'm helpless at it.
yeah, you got me there.

its monday tomorrow.

who says people who don't work won't get the blues?

dear, you'll always be my baby :)

p/s: uploaded pics onto my slide. if you have time, stare ;P that's the whole point isn't it?

Syrup or Sauce?

just came back from the book fair at suntec with luo. it was such a disappointment.

instead there were more books at harris and we stayed there longer.

i bought a book (which i don't usually do) i couldn't resist.

i read 16 pages while waiting for the bus home. and everything turned out right. things i never did understand, they were all there in the book. so life-like and true.

and if you wanna know why men are like waffles and women are like spaghetti, ask me. if i said it here, it would really discredit the authors efforts.

aniwae, this was advertised on 95 sometime back, if you remember.

i'm off to read my book.
